September 8: Best of Summer Dinner

Blue Bottle Cafe (Hopewell, NJ) 

“Blue Bottle Cafe will be offering a ‘best of summer 2017’ menu on Friday, September 8. It is a 6 course tasting featuring a selection of the best summer dishes scaled down to enjoy more than the normal ‘app-entree-dessert’. The menu will feature scallops with heirlooms, burrata with peaches, a special BLT gnocchi, grass fed beef, and two dessert courses for $59 per person”

 

September 14: Twilight Market

Greensgrow Farms (Philadelphia, PA)

“Join us at our next Twilight Market for a festive evening market at our green space nestled in Kensington! We are keeping the farm and the farmstand open late for shopping and have invited some of our favorite friends to join us! Philadelphia Brewing Co. will be here and Chef Carolynn will be making grilled summertime treats. West Philly born and raised Pb&Jams PHL will be here, servin’ up their sweet, savory and innovative renditions of the classic PB&J! Enjoy live music and shop local makers; Mithras Candle homemade candles sourced from local wax, an array of handcrafted soaps and balms from The Tin Goat, and Shell Home Made’s tinctures and small treasures. This month join us for a free seed bomb demo and outdoor movie, more details below! Twilight Markets are the second Thursday of each month through November and are BYOBW (beer and wine). Different music, local food and drink, workshops, music and arts and craft vendors each month.”

 

September 16: Farm Roll

Blue Moon Acres (Pennington, NJ)

“This year’s Farm Roll kicks off with yoga on the farm, then an enjoyable ride throughout our corner of the scenic Garden State. It ends with dinner, drinks, and live music. Join us in this wonderful event co-hosted by @NJ Bike Tours in support of @Garden State Community Kitchen! Here’s where this year’s tour will be stopping at John Hart farm, Hopewell Valley Vineyard, Beech Tree Farms and Honey Brook Farm.”

 

September 17: Celebrity Chef Farm to Table Dinner

Bucks County Audubon Society (New Hope, PA)

“The Doylestown Food Market presents the 3rd annual Celebrity Farm to Table Dinner on Sunday, September 17 at 5:00 pm with Chef Matt McPhelin of Maize Restaurant.

The Celebrity Chef Farm to Table Dinner features a chef whose restaurant, Maize, has been known for its spectacular treatment of fresh, local foods since its inception in 2009. Chef Matt McPhelin will showcase seasonal preparations from Bucks County Farms.

This exciting fundraising event focuses on community partnerships, featuring local entertainment, delicious locally farmed cuisine, fine wine, beer, and kombucha tastings, and live and silent auctions.

The Doylestown Food Market provides convenient access to a variety of locally raised or produced foods and other products, and fosters a healthy and economically viable environment for our farmers and our community.”

 

September 23: NJ Wine, Beer & Spirits Festival

Alba Vineyard (Milford, NJ)

“Sponsored by Alba Vineyard to benefit the Foodshed Alliance, the Garden State’s best winery will join forces with the state’s premium wine wholesalers to pour their finest estate wines. In addition, some of the state’s best craft breweries and a premier spirits distiller will be sharing samples of their NJ libations.

The festival is the vineyard’s largest charitable event of the year with 100% of the proceeds going to the Foodshed Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening local food systems that nourish people, sustain farmers, respect lands, and build a resilient food economy.

Besides tasting amazing wines, craft beers, and spirits, you will have the opportunity to purchase food from Morini at Alba part of the famed New York City restaurant operator Altamarea Group.  They will offer specialties from the grill and wood-fired pizza oven.  All food sold separately.

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet dozens of specialty food vendors who pride themselves on using the freshest from-the-farm ingredients. You can shop baked goods, jams, cheese, hot sauces, fermented products, honey, garlic and much, much more, all from New Jersey.”

September 24: Red Bank Oyster Fest

Red Bank, NJ

“The event will also be a culinary feast! There will be tons of GUINNESS and fresh OYSTERS plus 25 of Red Bank’s favorite restaurants will be serving a variety of specialty menu items including everything from Fried and Raw Oysters to Mini-Rueben’s to Filet Mignon Sandwiches to Lobster Rolls and more and more and more! ”

September 24: Epicurean Palette

Grounds For Sculpture (Hamilton, NJ)

“The Epicurean Palette is a celebration of fine food and wine that helps support the exhibitions and educational initiatives at Grounds For Sculpture (GFS). Spend an afternoon strolling the 42-acre sculpture park while sampling extraordinary cuisine from the area’s finest chefs and a wide-variety of wine, beer and spirits from local purveyors. September 26: Farm to Fork Tasting Event

Unionville Vineyards (Ringoes, NJ)

“Basil Bandwagon will once again join Unionville Vineyards and many other local vendors for this special evening of sampling some of Hunterdon County’s freshest and finest local cuisine. This is a fun night of great food from the finest local restaurants, great Hunterdon County wines, cider and beer, local bands and youth all participating to make the event a night to remember! This is truly a community event, hosted by and supported by local businesses, farms and restaurants.”
