Taste of Bordentown

September 3 (Bordentown, NJ)

“Join us on Saturday, September 3rd for the 5th annual “Taste of Bordentown”. Sample special menu items from Bordentown’s award-winning restaurants and specialty food shops. This outdoor event will also feature live music and special guests. Tickets are $15 per person and are limited so advance purchase is strongly suggested. The Farm School Foundations of Cooking – Bread & Stewing*

September 6 (Stockton, NJ)

“In this course we cover the basics that every cook needs to create great meals in the kitchen. Class 6 – No knead bread, stewing, clafoutis. Sample Menu:No knead bread, Chicken Liver Paté, Beouf Bourguignon (winter) or grilled meat (summer), Clafoutis”

Garces Foundation Summer BBQ

September 10 (Kintnersville, PA)

“Join chef Jose Garces for a barbecue lunch at Luna Farm in Bucks County. Refresh with beer, wine, specialty cocktails and lemonade. Activities will include tours of Luna Farm every 30 minutes, cook book signing, make and take herb seed plantings, 20 minute guided hiking trails, lawn games and activities for kids!”


Cherry Grove Farm Ricotta Lunch*

September 11 (Lawrenceville, NJ)

“The introduction to home cheese-making, ricotta is the easiest cheese to make at home. It requires only a few simple ingredients and very little time. Plus it can be eaten right away, making it ideal as a meal ingredient or a quick snack. In this hands-on class, you’ll watch side-by-side demonstrations on making ricotta using different coagulants before creating a savory lasagna lunch with a sweet ricotta dessert, using the cheese made in class. You’ll have time to ask questions while dining on your cheesy lunch (including a tasting of cheeses from Cherry Grove Farm), and then depart for the day with our signature class folder full of materials and recipes to use at home.”

Blue Moon Acres Farm Roll & Campfire Dinner

September 17 (Pennington, NJ)

“Our annual event, The Farm Roll, celebrates the biodiversity and agriculture near our Pennington farm with a beautiful charity bike tour. Hosted along with NJ Bike Tours, the event benefits The Garden State Community Kitchen. GSCK teaches farm-to-table living to children and families of all backgrounds. Allison O’Brien, the founder and an accomplished chef, will prepare our campfire meal during the post-ride party! Choose from a 15 or 25 mile bike ride with tours at Blue Moon Acres, Terhune Orchards, John Hart Farms, Fulper Family Farms and Unionville Vineyards”



Hoboken Oysterfest

September 17 (Hoboken, NJ)

“New Jersey’s newest musical festival with a unique twist. While enjoying a fabulous lineup of music in the stunning setting of Pier A Hoboken treat yourself to an array of fresh Oysters, from as close to home as Long Island to selections from Baja, California and British Columbia, Drink selections will include craft beers from far and wide, wines and craft cocktails. September 20-22 (Lambertville, NJ)

“Join us in August and spend an evening with friends and family in our outdoor garden and beautiful dining rooms on the banks of the Delaware River Canal. Start with fresh Jersey Tomatoes, Garlic, and Basil Oil. Then bring on the Littleneck Clams and Mussels.  1/2 a steamed Maine Lobster is next with Chicken Thighs, Sweet Sausage, Potatoes, Cole Slaw, and fresh Jersey Corn. Finally, finish dinner with our delicious Homemade Peach Pie.”

Awbury Arboretum Forest to plate dinner

September 22 (Philadelphia, PA)

Jeffrey Miller Catering Co., the Wild Foodies of Philly, and Awbury Arboretum invite you to our 2nd Annual “Forest-to-Plate” Dinner at the Francis Cope House at Awbury Arboretum. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Awbury. The event includes a foraging walk/tour, herbed cocktails and a 5 course tasting menu.”


Unionville Vineyards Wine & Dine By The Vines

September 23rd (Ringoes, NJ)

NJ Wine Spirits Festival

September 24 (Milford, NJ)

In addition, some of the state’s best craft breweries and a premier spirits distiller will be sharing samples of their NJ libations.
