Every Friday: Sips and Sounds Summer Music Series

Terhune Orchards (Princeton, NJ)

“Come join us for Terhune wine, wine fare, relaxing music, and friend-filled evenings every Friday night this summer (June 2 through Sept. 8) from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery. Grab a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, relax, and enjoy live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music from 5pm-8pm.”

 

Every Friday: Friday Night unWINEd Concert 

Shady Brook Farm (Yardley, PA)

“The party’s at our place every Friday night, and you’re invited! Come for live music by local bands, wines by Rose Bank Winery, PA brewed craft beer, signature cocktails made with Pennsylvania distilled spirits, and lawn games. There’s also special themed food menus each week featuring homegrown produce. This event takes place on our Festival Field, so parents can relax and unWINEd while the kiddos are busy on the giant jumping pillows, playground, and SBF 500 pedal go carts. $5/person cover charge, wine, beer & food available for purchase. Gates open at 5:30 pm, music starts at 6:30 pm. The Friday Night unWINEd is held every Friday night through Sept. 1, weather permitting.”

 

July 2: Freedom Feast BBQ

Lumberville General Store

“This feast includes a burger bar, BBQ pulled pork with roasted pineapple, Buttermilk fried chicken, Campfire brownies and the best BBQ sides and salads. BYOB and kick back on our expansive property along the Delaware River.”

 

July 7: First Fridays at GFS

Grounds For Sculpture (Hamilton, NJ)

“Looking for something different to do on Friday nights? Don’t miss new First Fridays @ GFS! Grab a drink at our open-air beer garden, check out the art, wander the grounds, go behind-the-scenes at on-site sculpture studio The Seward Johnson Atelier, and enjoy a variety of pop-up performances and other fun happenings as you unwind. Some programs are first come, first serve. Free with park admission. Food & beverage available a la carte. Summer Snap Acts: Stroll the grounds on select summer evenings as community performance groups ignite the corners and paths with informal pop-up performances.”

 

July 12: Reopening & Summer Menu Debut

Blue Bottle Cafe (Hopewell, NJ)

“Blue Bottle closes July 2-11, but on the bright side, we will debut our summer menu on Wednesday, July 12 featuring the amazing bounty of our delicious NJ summer ingredients. Chef Aaron has garnered a bit of a following for our re-opening night and Thursday since he sends each guest an extra plate as a thank you for being our tasty little guinea pigs, although the entire culinary team at BBC has tasted each dish multiple times throughout the menu development, of course.”

 

July 8-22: New Brunswick Restaurant Week

New Brunswick, NJ

“New Brunswick City Center restaurants are as diverse as they are exceptional and now you have the perfect excuse to get out of the kitchen heat and eat out! July 15-16: Bluegrass and Blueberries

Peddler’s Village (Lahaska, PA)

“Celebrate National Blueberry Month in July with everything blue at Bluegrass and Blueberries on Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Come hungry and ready for a weekend brimming with locally grown blueberries and blueberry treats plus bluegrass and country music acts. The event is held rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.”

 

July 20-30: Summit Restaurant Week

“A week of prix fixe menus and specials at Summit restaurants! Enjoy a summer evening in downtown Summit.  Many restauarants offer outdoor seating. The week begins with a Kickoff Celebration on Thursday, July 20.  There will be live music downtown and prize drawings at participating restaurants.”

 

July 22: Vineyard Lobster Bake

Unionville Vineyards (Ringoes, NJ)

“Watch the sun set over the vineyard while feasting on Maine lobster, raw bar, passed hors d’oeuvres and Unionville wines. Live music by the Barry Spatz Jazz Trio. Guests will also enjoy a special tasting of not-yet-released Unionville Vineyards single vineyard Chardonnays, and the opportunity to buy wines at deep discount. Full menu to be published June 1st. Ticket price includes an open bar selection of Unionville wines. This event sells out each year, about 2 weeks prior to the event date.”

 

July 25-27: Lobster Dinner

Restaurant Nicholas (Red Bank, NJ)

“For this Restaurant Nicholas Summer tradition, Nicholas flies in Nova Scotia lobsters that will come out of the ocean less than 24 hours before. Four courses showcase fresh lobster paired with locally sourced Summer produce including Jersey corn and tomatoes. If you love lobster, we promise you this is one menu you don’t want to miss.”

 

July 29: Wine on the Waterfront

Washington Crossing Park (Titusville, NJ)

July 30: Dinner & Movie: American Wine Story
